'Shabba' is a wanted man
Bafana Bafana midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala could be closing in on his dream to play for a European club in the new season, with reports stating that English Premiership club Wigan Athletic are leading the race for his signature.
According to SkySports, German club Hanover and former French champions Paris Saint Germain are also interested in the left-footed midfielder.
It is believed Wigan want Tshabalala as replacement for Charles N'Zogbia, who is likely to leave the club.
“I am now a free agent, so it is normal people being interested in me. I think I have had a decent World Cup, despite losing in the first round. Kaizer Chiefs have been great to me, but I want to play in Europe, so let’s wait and see," Tshabalala is quoted as saying by SkySports.
