Mario Balotelli will be new Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is allegedly ready to turn Inter's Mario Balotelli into Old Trafford's new Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sportmediaset.it claims Ferguson told his former assistant, the current Portugal boss Carlos Queiroz, that he will sign Balotelli and develop him into United's new Ronaldo.
Despite Inter owner Massimo Moratti claiming on Wednesday that Balotelli had not asked to leave the Nerazzurri, reports in Italy insist Manchester United and Manchester City will stage a bidding war for the striker.
The player's agent, Mino Raiola, said City had made an offer for the striker, but it was deemed too low.
Reports quickly followed that United had opened a dialogue with Inter, ready to carve out their own move for the hitman.
Both Premier League clubs are said by the Italian media to be ready to bid up to £25 million (€30m) for the 19-year-old, but Inter are reported to want at least £33.5m (€40m).
